Chief video editor

Joined KVUE ABC in December 2014, and promoted to Chief Editor in August 2015. My ability to multi-task and accurately meet tight deadlines is vital in the fast paced television environment.Responsibilities include editing packages for 5pm, 6pm, 10pm newscasts, small stories video and sound bite editing, managing editor staff, scheduling, handling live truck and TVU feeds and coordinating video with sister Texas and Tegna stations. Breaking news camera back up, and weekly filming and editing “Does It Work Wednesday” with Anchor, Quita Culpepper.

Camera Operator

Worked as floor camera operator for most of the home Austin Spurs games held at Cedar Park Center. Set up top camera, cable both floor cameras and make sure area is safe. 

Phone Ad & Graphics operator 

Worked playoff game making sure the correct scores were showing and keeping in contact with the nab director of when to cue in and out of commercial breaks.

Afternoon newscasts weekday video editor working with a large team.  Also ran teleprompter on a regular schedule. Managed and edited weekend newscasts, and handled live feed/master control and sending video feeds to other stations.

Hired directly after graduating with a Digital Media degree, this position as main editor in a small production studio was an challenging opportunity to work directly with clients creating custom videos for their companies, using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, and After Effects.
